Our story
Sandela began with a simple idea: the slide you reach for every morning should be comfortable, considered and easy on the planet.
One silhouette
Instead of hundreds of styles, we focused on one: a double-buckle slide on a contoured footbed. Doing one thing well means revisiting it again and again. Strap width, buckle size, the curve of the footbed and the thickness of the outsole were each decided on this slide.
Twelve colors
We built the palette around the clothes you already own, not around seasonal trends. Beige, powder, taba and sand go with everything; khaki, mustard, turquoise, navy and red finish a plain outfit. A color does not expire at the end of the season; it keeps its place in the wardrobe.
Responsible material
The upper is recycled microfiber leather with roughly 50–60% recycled content. We write that as a figure we can verify, not as a marketing line. More on the Materials page.
Comfort first
A slide that looks good but tires your feet by evening is not a finished product to us. The contoured footbed, the stitched edge and the adjustable straps are there so the first day is as comfortable as the hundredth.
